Mr. Marin, Vice President of Capital Markets, brings JMJ extensive knowledge in structured debt transactions, equity investments, private offering memorandums and financial modeling and forecasting in the real estate industry. Prior to joining JMJ, Mr. Marin opened a commercial lending office generating over $246 million in receivables during the first year of operation and established the fastest growing international commercial finance office for a global financial institution with managed assets in excess of $100 billion in the U.S. and 13 countries. The entire loan portfolio was subsequently acquired by Citi. Mr. Marin founded and headed a publicly-traded technology company, completing six acquisitions and achieving hyper-business growth and ultimately orchestrating and negotiating the successful sale of the company to Dallas entrepreneur, Mark Cuban. Mr. Marin also has considerable experience in cross border transactions involving foreign direct investment and international joint ventures. Communication with top-level foreign executives and high-net-worth individuals has equipped Mr. Marin with expertise in foreign customs, cultures and diplomacy around the globe. Mr. Marin holds an MBA in International Management from the University of Texas at Dallas and a BBA with a double major in Finance and Accounting from the University of North Texas. Mr. Marin is fluent in Spanish.
